Felicia received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. She has clinical experience working at a Children’s hospital, and as a school social worker. Felicia is very passionate about international issues and was Chair of USC’s international social work caucus organizing funding and visits to orphanages abroad. Currently, she is working with military children at a child development center in Stuttgart, Germany.

Stephanie Cryer is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC and received her Master's in Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. For the past 11 years, she has worked in the areas of community mental health and refugee resettlement and managed programs for homeless families, women in the process of leaving prostitution, and chronically mentally ill adults who resided in intentional communities. Stephanie was a Peace Corps volunteer in Ghana and has also lived and worked in Zambia and Mali. She currently has a private therapy practice in Dakar, Senegal where she lives with her husband and their ever-entertaining adopted son Atticus.

Jessica is an adoption consultant and has been providing post-placement services for domestic and international adoptions since 2010. She has a B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology and an M.S. in International Health. She specializes in early childhood health and education with experience as a pre-school and substitute teacher for primary and elementary level children. In addition, Jessica has several years experience working as a mental health practitioner, providing outpatient services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

Humera received a double BSc in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Women's Studies from Loyola University of Chicago in 1986 with honors. She went on to complete a masters degree in public administration from The University of Southern California in 1992. She began a second masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University. While attempting her second masters degree, she went on to do a one and a half year internship at a mental health clinic in the Edgewater-Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. Since then, she has worked at various mental health clinics in the Chicago area specializing in children services and community outreach.

Megan Paterson-Brown, MA, CMHC, holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California and is a Certified Mental Health Clinician. A staff psychotherapist during her tenure at Hall Health Student Mental Health Clinic at the University of Washington in Seattle, Megan and her Scottish husband moved to Switzerland 7 years ago. She teaches Psychology and Eastern Traditions at Webster University, in Geneva, where she lives with her husband William and adopted son Finlay.

Allison lives in Seattle, Washington and has worked in the field
of adoption for over twenty years. She is currently self
employed and contracts with local adoption agencies and attorneys doing home studies and post placement reports. She is also
an employee of Journeys of the Heart and has been a part of
their Taiwan program for the past seven years. She also does
adoption trainings for health care professionals under a federal
grant called the Adoption Awareness Training Program. Allison
has been with AAPA since 2006 and has worked with families in
the greater Seattle area as well as western Canada.

Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Seattle Pacific University and a Masters
Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Seta has worked a
variety of jobs in the fields of child welfare and adoption since 1999. She
has worked as a child and family therapist for children and families
involved in the child welfare system, she has worked with underprivileged
families, and has worked as a caseworker for foster children. Since 2005,
she has provided home study and post placement services for both domestic
and international adoptions, as well as Hague adoptions. She performs
adoption services both independently and as a contracted employee with
adoption agencies.

Jennifer Gay Kessler, MS, holds a Bachelors degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, and a Masters degree in Psychology from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. Jennifer has advocated for children in the child welfare system since 2001, where she was an adoption worker, and a foster parent in the state of Florida. Jennifer assists families in Bavaria where she lives with her husband, a Sergeant in the US Army, and her adopted son, Christopher. Jennifer conducts post placement visits, and completes home study and post placement reports for Bavarian familes seeking to adopt domestically.
