With the recent implementation of the Hague Convention on International Adoption and new US regulations, we are limiting our services for US citizens living abroad. We will continue to work with US federal employees and other US citizens living abroad temporarily and adopting in the USA or a non Hague Country. Any US citizen adopting in a Hague Convention country and living abroad must have authorization of their home study provider through the Central Authority in the country in which the family resides. There is no mechanism at the present time to receive such authorization. We will continue to research and work on this but for the present time we need to suspend any involvement on Hague Convention adoptions for any families who we are not presently working with that have not formalized their application to USCIS prior to 1 April.
Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
