Most of our associates are adoptive parents and worked with Randy and Jane in their adoption process. Our other associates are social workers with a background in adoption and families.

		Jennifer Behr Adoption Consultant and Home Study Specialist UK

		Megan Paterson-Brown Adoption Consultant Geneva, Switzerland Megan Paterson-Brown, MA, CMHC, holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California and is a Certified Mental Health Clinician. A staff psychotherapist during her tenure at Hall Health Student Mental Health Clinic at the University of Washington in Seattle, Megan and her Scottish husband moved to Switzerland 7 years ago. She teaches Psychology and Eastern Traditions at Webster University, in Geneva, where she lives with her husband William and recently adopted son Finlay.

		Monica Bovankovich Adoption Consultant and Early Childhood Specialist Delaware, USA Monica is an adoption consultant, adoptive parent, and military spouse who has lived in Korea and Japan. Monica is AAPA's coordinator and consultant for Korea and Japan. She has an masters in family counseling and and is experienced working with children and families.

		Kevin Cookman Adoption Consultant Wisconsin, USA Kevin Cookman is an adoption consultant who brings a wealth of international experience to AAPA. He is an adoptive dad of two children from Ukraine. He serves our clients throughout the UK and the USA.

		Deanna Dlugiewicz Adoption Consultant and Social Worker Misawa, Japan Deanna is a Licensed Social Worker experienced in domestic, international, and interstate adoptions. She previously resided in North Dakota until moving to Misawa, Japan.

		Debbie Driessen Adoption Consultant and Social Worker Netherlands Debbie is an adoptive mom and social worker. She has worked for AAPA for several years serving clients in the Benelux area. Her husband is an airline pilot and they reside in Amsterdam.

		Jennifer Feeken Adoption Consultant and Home Study Specialist Mexico City, Mexico Jennifer is an adoption consultant and former client of AAPA while she lived in Kiev, Ukraine. Jennifer worked for AAPA first while living in Manila and in Washington D.C. She and her family now live in Mexico City.

		Hedda Forquer Adoption Consultant and Home Study Specialist Texas, USA Hedda is a former AAPA clients when her family lived in Norway. They moved to the and in June 2006 both Hedda and her husband Jason received their Master of Social Work (MSW) from Arizona State University. Hedda now lives in Texas and Jason is in the US Air Force. Hedda continues to work with our clients in the USA and Central America.

		Jennifer George Adoption Consultant Landstuhl, Germany Jennifer joined with AAPA in 2007 and conducts home studies, post placements and consultations in the Landstuhl-Ramstein area. She lives with her husband and son near the Landstuhl Regional Military Hospital. Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to AAPA. She received her MSW from Florida State University.

		Sharon Harden Adoption Consultant and Attorney Israel Sharon is an adoption consultant and adoptive parent. Sharon and her family live in Israel and consults with our clients in that region. She is an adoptive parent and previously lived in Kazakhstan where she began working with AAPA.

		Michele Holl Adoption Consultant and Adoption Home Study Specialist Michele has worked for Randy and AAPA since the early 1990’s and written hundreds of home study reports. She and her husband Tom, an officer in the United States Army, and her two sons adopted from Russia now live in Hawaii. Since working for AAPA, Michelle has lived in Germany, Colorado, Oklahoma and Belgium.

		Kathleen Kastrup, MSE, LCSW Adoption Consultant Dublin, Ireland Kathleen joined AAPA in 2007 as a home study provider and adoption consultant. Kathleen is a former director of adoption services in New Haven, CT. Kathleen’s extensive adoption social work experience provides our clients a valuable service in Ireland and beyond.

		Elizabeth Leuenberger Adoption Consultant Switzerland Elizabeth has been a consultant and former post placement coordinator for AAPA since January 2003. She consults with our clients in the Zurich area where she lives with her husband and two adopted daughters.

		David Markewitz Adoption Consultant Germany David Markewitz joins AAPA after working 34 years overseas as a school administrator, counselor, school psychologist, and teacher in Japan, Korea, Panama, Philippines, and Germany. Presently, he lives in c, Germany and is a part-time licensed psychologist and supporter of his wife, Debbie, who works for the Dept. of Defense Dependent Schools. More Info

		Allison Reeves Adoption Consultant, Home Study and Post Placement Writer Washington, USA Allison has in-depth skills in agency leadership, supervising counselors, conducting home studies and working with all members of the adoption triad: birthparents, adoptive parents and children. Her background also includes developing and facilitating an international adoption program, working directly with country representatives as well as families adopting across the US and abroad.

		Laurie Sepanski Adoption Consultant Virginia, USA Laurie is an adoptive mother residing in North Virginia with her family. Her husband is a retired military officer and she has an adopted son along with three biological daughters. Laurie works closely with AAPA and ANA in adoption issues.

		Heather Spencer, MSW Adoption Consultant Heidelberg, Germany Heather received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Children and Family studies. She recently began working with Randy Barlow as a home study provider and adoption consultant for our clients in the Heidelberg area. Heather and her husband Jonathan moved overseas two years ago after getting married.

		Lisa Ulestad Office Manager and Post Placement Coordinator Germany Lisa has two adopted girls from China and has worked for AAPA for several years. She lives near Randy Barlow and is an office assistant and Post Placement Coordinator.

		Wendy Wiley Client Case Coordinator USA Wendy has assisted Randy with coordinating client case loads for several years and is an invaluable asset to AAPA.
