Home Study

The home study approves you as adoptive parents.

The home study is a history of your life: your background and current circumstances, how you decided to adopt, hopes for parenting, medical health and financial stability. Social workers are looking for people who will truly advocate for their child -- essentially, parents who are up to the task.

Post-Adoption

Post placement supervision and reports are required for most international and domestic adoptions.

All of our post placement reports are wrtten to agency and country specific standards. Post placement supervision and reports are not part of the home study fee. Post placement supervision is for those families who have a child placed with them but the adoption is not finalized. This is the case especially for US domestic adoptions. Post adoption is for families who have completed the adoption process and the child holds an adoption decree. This is the case for most international adoptions.
